Lebanon’s President Denounces Deadly Attack on UNIFIL Forces
During a phone call with French President Emmanuel Macron, Aoun said he had directed the relevant authorities to immediately investigate the incident, which he described as being carried out by “armed individuals” in the village of Ghanduriyah.
He also pledged that those responsible would be brought to justice and expressed his condolences to Macron over the killing of the French serviceman.
